Tuning in to Kids - Emotionally Intelligent Parenting

Our Provisional Psychologist Amanda is facilitating the evidence based Tuning into Kids program at PATC as part of her placement. She will be assisted by other practitioners to support parents to:

Learn How to:

• Communicate with your child more effectively
• Understand your child’s needs
• Prevent and support behavioural concerns

Children with higher Emotional Intelligence:

• Can have greater success with making and keeping friends
• Can have better concentration at school
• Tend to have fewer childhood illnesses
